Recital Classes
The programme must not include pieces to be played by the performer in any other class.

Performers must present a programme to last 15 minutes. Marks will be given for both the performance and choice of programme.

Own choice, with or without piano accompaniment. If accompanied by a teacher this must be clearly stated on the application form.

Concerto Competition
The
winner of this class will go forward to the CONCERTO FINAL on 13th May 2012.
The Overall winner will be awarded a prize of £500 (sponsored by Whitgift
School and the Croydon Music Festival) and an opportunity to perform a complete
concerto or a concerto movement with the LONDON MOZART PLAYERS chamber
orchestra, the DULWICH SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA and participate in the LUNCHTIME
CONCERT at the Fairfield Halls in the 2012/13 season provided the judges are
satisfied that the required standard is reached.
Numbers may have to be restricted in this class, and if so then a ballot will
be held to decide the entrants.

For those who have achieved Grade 8 and
above.
Any movement from a Brass concerto.
Entrants must provide their own accompanist.
